Your Host
Meet Josie Sutterer: Hello! I would love to teach you how to knit or crochet! I am familiar with crochet basics but knitting is where I shine. A childhood friend taught me crochet basics and I picked it up again during covid. About a year and a half ago I taught myself how to knit. Since then I have made sweaters, socks, and lots of other fun things!
Meet Heather Swan: Heather learned to crochet and sew as a young child. Her sewing stuck with her for years and then she picked up some knitting needles over 15 years ago never looking back. She eventually went back to her roots and started to crochet again. And as she has been falling down the fiber arts rabbit hole, she also enjoys spinning and weaving. Heather has coached youth sports since she was a youth and enjoys passing along her knowledge to help others take their interests to the next step. If you enjoy learning and laughing, you will definitely enjoy spending time at the table with Heather picking up a new skill.
Meet Kristie Holden: I'm the tall girl that you see at the shop on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'm a retired military wife, mother, mother in law, and avid crafter. I have been around fiber arts my whole life. My grandmother taught me basic crochet when I was a little girl. I have been knitting in the St Louis fiber community for 15 years. I took up spinning during the pandemic. I am self taught and have immersed myself in all the different styles of wheels and spinning techniques from drop spindles, to antique wheels, traditional wheels, and e-spinners. When I'm not knitting or spinning, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love all things natural for health and wellness, and enjoying the outdoors.
