Heather has accumulated 25 years of experience in leadership and management across various corporate environments, encompassing organizing national sales meetings, hosting international clients, analyzing data, leading teams, and overseeing Human Resources. Her journey into volunteer work, community development, and event coordination began in her initial role in Parks and Recreation. In 2021, she assumed the title of Yarn Queen at Yarncom and initiated the Midwest Fiber Festival. Currently serving as the CEO of The Swan Factor, Heather is renowned for her adept brainstorming skills that aid individuals during periods of change.
Since establishing Yarncom, a local yarn store in St. Louis, MO, she has received numerous requests for assistance in learning new techniques and completing projects promptly for gifting or testing. Drawing on her past experiences, Heather transforms feedback into practical tools that some companies still utilize to achieve their objectives successfully. Her goal is to leverage this expertise to assist fellow creators in leading a more fulfilling creative life with reduced stress. Heather encourages readers to use the information provided to cultivate a creative existence that brings tranquility. Committed to fostering community connections, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations, camping, and showering her pets with affection during her leisure time.
