Do you want to learn to spin but you don’t have a wheel? Have you gone on Facebook MarketPlace or to garage sale and you see a wheel that is priced too good to be true? Should I buy this wheel you ask? If you have found yourself in this situation, this class is for you! Kristie will walk you through a checklist of what to look for, what questions to ask the seller, and more importantly when to walk away and why.
Prerequisites: Eager to buy a wheel!

Kristie Holden is the tall girl that you see at the shop on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She's a retired military wife, mother, mother in law, and avid crafter. She has been around fiber arts her whole life. Her grandmother taught her basic crochet when she was a little girl. She has been knitting in the St Louis fiber community for 15 years. She took up spinning during the pandemic. She is self taught and immersed herself in all the different styles of wheels and spinning techniques from drop spindles, to antique wheels, traditional wheels, and e-spinners. When she's not knitting or spinning, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She love all things natural for health and wellness, and enjoying the outdoors.
