Fiber Arts from Start to Finish: Plan Your Year of Fiber Art Projects
Welcome to all the fun in Fiber Arts! Whether you are a professional maker, fiber artist, casual pasttime creator, or committed volunteer for your local non-profits I’ve created this for ALL of you.
I’m the self-appointed Yarn Queen and have enjoyed making all the things since I can remember. One grandmother taught me to sew and my other grandmother taught me to crochet. I have dabbled in spinning yarn, weaving on tabletop to floor looms, knit my evenings away, felted with water and needles, and continue to find new things I can do with yarn and other textiles.
I most enjoy coaching others in their journeys to learn and soar with their creativity and talents. My heart is most full when I’ve showed someone a new tool or concept and they are able to master it and come back to me with a new twist or application.
We each have our journeys in creating and when it comes to fiber arts we have so many rabbit holes, that keeping our focus can be difficult. I know from first hand squirrel brain.
This journal came to life out of the idea of helping other makers achieve their goals. So often I have at least 5 projects going on simultaneously and not getting them done. When I make notes and realize that this may help others to achieve their goals, I put it to paper (or ePUB for my tablet users :) )
Enjoy your year of making and I look forward to seeing where intention can take you in your chosen craft(s).
